Rob joined Stansell in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer, a role he held for nearly a decade before moving into operations as COO in 2013. In 2018, he became President. Before joining the electrical industry, Rob spent five years as an investment banker and worked as a biomedical and healthcare entrepreneur, a background that shapes the way he approaches growth, problem-solving, and opportunity. He holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.

Outside the office, Rob has spent more than 20 years deeply involved in nonprofits focused on education and opportunity for low-income children and families, serving on boards, helping launch new organizations, and mentoring nonprofit leaders. He currently serves on the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as Vice Chair and Chair of the Business Committee for Rocketship Tennessee. When he's not working, you'll find him with family and friends, on the golf course, fishing, camping, or out on the bike.
