CHRIS KNOPF
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Chris Knopf has served as Chief Financial Officer of Stansell Electric Company, Inc. since October 2018, where he oversees the company’s finance and accounting functions, along with Information Technology and Facilities Services. As a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Tennessee, Chris brings a disciplined, strategic approach to financial leadership and operational performance, supporting the company’s continued growth and long-term success.
Prior to joining Stansell Electric, Chris served as Director of Finance & Accounting at Infrastructure Corporation of America from 2013 to 2018 and as Controller at Bell & Associates, LP from 2006 to 2012. Earlier in his career, he held commercial project management roles, building a broad range of experience across construction projects spanning large-scale commercial developments and heavy highway infrastructure.
Chris holds a Master of Accountancy from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Science in Building Science from Auburn University.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and pursuing creative interests in pottery and painting. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly, where he contributes to the community’s ongoing stewardship and development. He values time with his wife, Lyn, and their two children, Duncan and Evey.
