We are seeking a General Manager for Quality Traffic Systems (QTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stansell Electric.  QTS is a distributor of Traffic Control products across five states.  This five state territory is divided into three regions:  1) Georgia, 2) Alabama/Mississippi, and 3) Kentucky/Tennessee. 

The General Manager will be a proven leader in the following business aspects:

·         Ability to assess markets and opportunities as reflected in a well thought out strategic plan (developed in conjunction with upper management)

·         Ability to implement strategic plans and manage performance relative to budget and targeted milestones/objectives

·         Ability to manage and lead people adeptly

·         Expertise in sales and marketing strategies and management, preferably in the distribution field

·         Knowledge of core business operations - finance, inventory, estimating, etc.

PREFERRED:

·         Knowledge of manufacturing, testing and quality control

·         Experience selling to government entities and contractors

·         Knowledge of transportation signal and related equipment

·         Demonstrated ability to grow a business with proper scaling as revenue/profit increases

·         Technology oriented in terms of using technology rather than people to grow the business and in understanding the company's products
