Description:

Quality Traffic Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stansell Electric, is a distributor of Traffic Control products across five states.  This five state territory is divided into three regions:  1) Georgia, 2) Alabama/Mississippi, and 3) Kentucky/Tennessee.  We are currently seeking skilled Regional Sales Representatives for the Alabama/Mississippi region and for the Kentucky/Tennessee region.

 

Our team has been carefully chosen from diverse backgrounds based on skills and behavioral strengths, then cultivated through continuing education, resulting in a company of highly professional leaders within the construction and Traffic Control fields. 

 

The Sales Representative must be experienced with prospecting new and existing customers, exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills, handle rejection well and show an interest in learning Traffic Control terminology and equipment.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven outside sales experience
  • Must have the ability to cover a two state territory including requisite overnight travel
  • Ability to interact effectively with field level employees, contractors, engineers and business owners is essential.
  • Technically oriented enough to understand and sell traffic signal and Intelligent Transportation System equipment.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience calling on engineers, contractors and municipal officials.
  • Experience writing equipment specifications and getting specifications approved.
  • DOT/Traffic sales experience.
